Trying to stay current
Mood: I dunno
The true secret of giving advice is, after you have honestly given it, to be perfectly indifferent whether it is taken or not, and never persist in trying to set people right.

I have no idea what I'm writing about. Check out the actual post I guess. That sort of ruin's the point of having a summary, but I'm sure I had a great reason for making the blog this way. I want to do something better, something more free, but I can't without putting any real effort forth, and all of my effort is being wasted on other things. Woe when school arrive
I guess this is the rest of it. I started blogging on SoulCast. It has this thing where you can make money, and its anonymous, so I figured I'd try it. I wrote a few things, didn't get noticed after 2 days, gave up. Story of my life I guess. If it doesn't come easy then I suppose I'm not interested, unless of course the journey has its own sort of reward. I don't know that this one does, so I might not go on it.
It's a nice idea though, and there are nice discussions. Maybe it feels more like a forum...with anonymity...I don't know where I'm going with this. I've been checking out craigslist personals lately. I watched and responded religiously for about 2 weeks, and after very little luck, and learning a lot, I took some advice and stopped. I haven't stopped completely, but the desire is gone. I doubt I'll go back.
I'm sure there is a lot to say about craigslist, but overall I don't feel like saying it now. Maybe I'll never say it. I had an idea for this paragraph, but I forgot it. It might be because I'm very tired, or classes are starting soon, and I'm still working, and I'm conflicted about relationship-esque issues, or any other dozen things that are on my mind.
I got new shoes. That wasn't what I wanted to talk about, but now I remember what I did want to talk about. I finished reading Count Zero (Barnes & Noble link because I actually shop there). I wanted to buy the next book in the series, Mona Lisa Overdrive (take that amazon!), but they didn't have a copy. I also want to buy the new Penny Arcade poster. I have merch from almost all the other comics I read (or am on the hunt for something I want) but I have yet to get anything from Penny Arcade. I think someone still has the giant wall poster thing, so that might end up in my room this year.
The new shoes are cool, different from the old shoes, but I'm sure the new ones are much better for walking. I did stuff on Tuesday and went to the statue of liberty and ellis island. I see Snakes on a Plane tonight. I've gained +1 towards subway travel. I watched The Shining, amazing horror film. I plan on watching Alien. Watched some Daily Show, Colbert Report. Did other stuff. Worked.
This is degenerating into useless drivel, so its time to go folks. You stay classy.
